'It's my job to say something,' rapper tells 'RapFix Live' of his responsibility as 'Master of Ceremonies.'

Styles P takes the title of MC very seriously. On his upcoming album Master of Ceremonies, the Ghost expands the acronym to exemplify what it means to be a rapper of the highest caliber. The LOX rhyme spitter broke it all down with Sway on Wednesday's "RapFix Live."

"I named it Master of Ceremonies because I'm an MC and I felt like I'm gonna bring something to the table that a lot of people forgot about — a lost art," Styles told Sway of his album, which drops October 4.

In the beginning, it was the DJ who was the star in hip-hop. During the early house parties and park jams, the MC's main function was to toast to the DJ using witty and rhyming wordplay. As hip-hop evolved, it was the MC or the rapper who emerged as the musical star. For Styles P, his MC influences included Rakim, KRS-One, Big Daddy Kane and the seldom-celebrated New Jersey rapper Chill Rob G. So when it came time for him to grab the mic, Styles took the title very seriously.

"It's my job to say something. At the end of the day, I have to say something," Peniro said, citing rap's current lyrical deficiency as motivation for his first solo album in four years.

The Yonkers lyricist even joked that after announcing his Master of Ceremonies album title on Twitter, one fan thought he was down with the Illuminati — a powerful, cult-like sect that conspiracy theorists accuse artists like Jay-Z and Kanye West of being involved with. "I laughed, but I was sad at the same time," Styles said, "because to them, a master of ceremonies sounded like some Illuminati term and I was like, 'Nah I'm an MC.' Do your history — this is where we come from."

Styles, who is a self-described "fan of lyrics," invited other MCs to be a part of his album. Not only do Rick Ross and Busta Rhymes appear on Master of Ceremonies' lead single "Harsh," other well-regarded spitters like Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Lloyd Banks are represented as well.

"In hip-hop, I think a lot of us forgot about MC and what MCing is," he said. Luckily Styles P is about to give us a reminder.

RealTime Fantasy Sports - Bears' LB Briggs keeps causing havoc

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (AP) - Lance Briggs made it clear just a few weeks ago he wanted to be traded if the Chicago Bears wouldn't restructure his contract. He hasn't stopped making big statements since then.

He's just delivering them on the field.

The six-time Pro Bowl linebacker has been creating his usual havoc and will try to keep it up against Carolina on Sunday, while Chicago (1-2) will look to brush off back-to-back losses to New Orleans and Green Bay.

He's been credited with 15 tackles by the team in each of the past two games and is playing as well as ever at age 30.

``That ceiling can go a long way with him, with what he can do,'' coach Lovie Smith said. ``And we need our stars to play like that each week. And he's definitely one of our stars.''

Against Green Bay, Briggs had seven solo tackles and two tackles for loss. He stripped James Starks in the backfield early in the fourth quarter of a 27-17 loss, leading to a fumble recovery by Julius Peppers and a 32-yard touchdown pass from Jay Cutler to Kellen Davis.

A week earlier, he had 10 solo tackles at New Orleans, but the Bears got knocked around 30-13. They've allowed 57 points in the past two games, and that stands out to Briggs as Chicago prepares for Carolina.

Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers each threw for three touchdowns while completing more than 70 percent of their passes against a defense that ranks 25th overall. Now comes Newton, the rookie sensation who has more than lived up to the billing after being taken with the No. 1 pick in the draft. All he's done so far is throw for more than 400 yards twice, tying and then breaking the single-game record for a rookie, and he ranks third behind Tom Brady and Brees with 1,012 yards.

``We haven't been playing characteristic type of football,'' Briggs said. ``We can't expect to win games if we're giving up that many points.''

Briggs, meanwhile, might be better than ever.

``Am I? Probably,'' he said, smiling.

Briggs is one of only four linebackers in franchise history to make six straight Pro Bowls, along with Dick Butkus, Bill George and Mike Singletary, and he has led the team in tackles two of the past three years.

In that sense, it is not hard to see why he might want a new contract. It's also not hard to see why the Bears wouldn't budge.

With three years left on a six-year, $36 million deal, management basically told Briggs to leave them alone and that issue appears to be on the backburner for now.

There are more pressing matters for a team coming off losses to two of the best teams in the league. If the Bears want to contend after winning the NFC North and advancing to the conference championship game, they need to win games like this week's.

Briggs certainly has been doing his part.

``He's a premier tackler in space,'' defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli said. ``He's as good a tackling linebacker in this league, not just in line tackling but in space. He's exceptional. He's got great instincts.''

Some of those instincts developed when Panthers coach Ron Rivera was the Bears' defensive coordinator from 2004 to 2006. He got Briggs to buy into the system, what they were trying to accomplish, and helped him develop into a Pro Bowl player.

``He had a way of explaining things to a player, to inspire him, and it also let me know that he was there,'' Briggs said. ``He'll tell you, `That's not an easy play for anybody to make, but if you can make that play, you will shut this play down.' For me, that helps in a lot of ways. I've gone through life with a lot of coaches who say, `Just do it this way because I told you to do it.' Ron Rivera to me, everybody kind of felt the same way about him.''

He's looking forward to seeing Rivera and, for that matter, Greg Olsen, the tight end the Bears traded to Carolina in the summer.

``It'll be fun seeing Greg cross the middle,'' Briggs said. ``I'll get a chance to cover him, get my hands on him a little bit, maybe get a chance to irritate him. But hey, outside of that, it's fun.''

NOTES: The Bears held S Chris Harris out of practice Thursday because of soreness in his hamstring after he participated without limitations the previous day. ``You're always concerned when a guy misses a Thursday practice, but we have a little bit of time, still,'' Smith said. ``We have other guys who can play if he can't go, but hopefully, he'll be able to.'' ... RB Kahlil Bell (back) sat out, while WR Earl Bennett (chest), TE Matt Spaeth (calf) and OT Gabe Carimi (knee) remain sidelined. How the major stock indexes fared on Monday (AP)

Stocks had their biggest gains in more than two weeks Monday after European officials vowed to take action to resolve the region's debt problems. The Dow Jones industrial average jumped 272 points, making up about a third of last week's losses.

Financial officials met in Washington over the weekend and pledged to take bolder steps to fight Europe's debt crisis, which threatens to slow the global economy. President Barack Obama also called on European leaders to move more quickly to address the crisis.

The Dow Jones industrial average shot up 272.38 points, or 2.5 percent, to close at 11,043.86.

The Standard & Poor's 500 rose 26.52, or 2.3 percent, to 1,162.95.

The Nasdaq composite rose 33.46, or 1.4 percent, to 2,516.69.

For the year to date:

The Dow is down 533.65, or 4.6 percent.

The S&P 500 is down 94.69, or 7.5 percent.

The Nasdaq is down 136.18, or 5.1 percent.

Amazon Kindle Fire tablet unveiled: Android-based, 7-inch display, $199 price tag

Okay, so it wasn't much of a surprise, but Amazon finally has a tablet, and as expected its name picks up where the Kindle left off: Fire. Of course, rumors of an Amazon tablet date back to this time last year (if not before), but it seems that Jeff and co. have wisely chosen to get this thing out on the open market before having yet another wild and wacky holiday quarter. Bloomberg has curiously reported on some of the details before the event itself kicks off, noting that the 7-inch device will run a version of Android while acting much like a "souped-up Kindle." The real kicker, however, is the price -- at just $199, it's bound to turn heads, regardless of whether you were interested in a slate before. Naturally, that bargain-bin sticker explains the lack of an embedded camera and microphone, though consumers will find WiFi (no 3G, sadly) and a 30-day trial of Amazon Prime. It's also quite clear that Amazon's hoping to make a bigger splash on the content side of things than has been made already by Apple, and with the deals flowing like wine, we wouldn't be shocked if it does just that.

Oracle Rolls Out New SparcT4 Servers (NewsFactor)

Hoping to stem the tide of reported customer losses, Oracle on Tuesday rolled out its new Sparc T4 server line. Oracle claims the new line offers one of the largest generational performance increases in its history.

Oracle's Sparc T4 servers come preloaded with Oracle Solaris. The line is designed for enterprise users that run single-threaded and highly concurrent workloads. Sparc T4 servers let customers consolidate multiple application tiers onto a single server to reduce the complexity of systems.

"The Sparc T4 and the advanced clustering technologies it is offering is Oracle's answer to the need for a general-purpose computing platform," said Charles King, principal analyst at Pund-IT. "From an engineering standpoint the performance is impressive if it proves to be accurate."

Stop the Bleeding

Oracle claims the Sparc T4 sets a record in enterprise Java environments and offers a 20 percent performance advantage per socket across the entire configuration.

What's more, the company said its Sparc T4 servers perform better than IBM Power7 and HP Itanium-based systems. Specifically, in data warehousing, Oracle said its new line delivered 2.4 times better performance per socket than the IBM Power 780, with 33 percent better price performance, and 5.7 times better performance and 2.6 times better price performance than HP Superdome 2 with 16 Itanium processors. However, those claims have not been verified by independent parties.

There's a subtext behind all these numbers, King said. Namely, convincing Sun customers to remain with Oracle. Although one might think Sun's acquisition by a firm with deep pocket would stem the tide of migrations away from its product lines, King said the movement away from Solaris and Sparc has accelerated since Oracle took over.

"Oracle needs to do something to stop the bleeding. The marketing jargon around T4 is all about offering better performance than IBM Power7 and HP Superdome," King said. "Certainly, I think Oracle would love to get some migrations heading back their way, but personally I think the realization for that goal is quite a way down the line."

Evaluating Server Systems

Beyond speed, the new Oracle Sparc T4 servers offer built-in virtualization, security and dynamic threads. Sparc T4 servers offer a framework for virtualizing both instances of Oracle Solaris, as well as lightweight virtualization for applications.

Oracle also announced new versions of three Sparc T4 server-based Oracle Optimized Solutions: Oracle Database, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Oracle WebLogic Suite. All three solutions promise either faster data warehousing or better performance than competing products in in-house tests.

"Performance is one thing, but as with any product that is tied up with a vendor's software, customers will need to be very careful to see exactly how software licensing impacts the overall cost of the system," King said. "That's an issue that's come up with Oracle in the past and it's one that other existing or potential clients will need to keep in mind as they begin evaluating these systems for purchase."

Pakistan PM warns U.S. against fanning anti-Americanism, India tilt (Reuters)

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) ? Pakistan's prime minister warned the United States on Tuesday to stop accusing it of playing a double game with Islamist militants, and said Washington must correct a perceived tilt towards arch-foe India.

Yusuf Raza Gilani, speaking in an exclusive interview with Reuters, also said any unilateral military action by the United States to hunt down militants of the Haqqani network inside Pakistan would be a violation of his country's sovereignty.

However, speaking from his office in Islamabad, he side-stepped a string of questions on the tense relations with the United States and offered no indications of any steps Pakistan might take to soothe the current fury in Washington.

The United States' military chief last week described the Haqqani network, the most violent faction among Taliban militants in Afghanistan, as a "veritable arm" of Pakistan's ISI spy agency and accused Islamabad of providing support for the group's Sept. 13 attack on the U.S. embassy in Kabul.

It was the most serious allegation levelled by Washington against the nuclear-armed South Asian nation since they allied in the "war on terror" in 2001, and the first time it had held Islamabad responsible for an attack against the United States.

"The negative messaging, naturally that is disturbing my people," Gilani said in the interview. "If there is messaging that is not appropriate to our friendship, then naturally it is extremely difficult to convince my public. Therefore they should be sending positive messages."

Asked for his view on why the United States had suddenly ratcheted up its criticism of Pakistan, he implied that it reflected frustration with the war in Afghanistan ahead of a withdrawal of U.S. troops from the country in 2014.

Gilani said Washington should provide the "political space" for his government to convince a sceptical Pakistani public of the value of a relationship with the United States.

However, anti-Americanism is rampant in Pakistan and reached new heights after U.S. Navy SEALs killed al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden at his Pakistan townhouse hideout in May.

A Pew Research Center survey of Pakistanis in June found that 69 percent saw Washington as an enemy and 47 percent were "very" worried about a military threat from the United States.

Gilani said anti-Americanism in Pakistan was partly a result of an "imbalance" between Washington's relationship with India and Pakistan.

Much of the Pakistani public believes that since the end of the Cold War, the United States has tilted towards India, which has fought three wars with Pakistan since the violent partition of the subcontinent in 1947.

Gilani pointed out that Washington had struck a deal on civilian nuclear cooperation with New Delhi but not Islamabad.

"There is an acute shortage of electricity in Pakistan. And there are riots. And the opposition is playing to the gallery because there is a shortage of electricity," he said.

"But they (the United States) are doing the civilian nuclear deal not with Pakistan, but with India. Now how can I convince my public that they are your (Pakistan's) friends and not the friends of India? ... the perception matters."

Asked how Islamabad would respond if there was a unilateral military operation by the United States inside Pakistan to go after the Haqqanis, Gilani responded: "We are a sovereign country. How can they come and raid in our country?"

He said Islamabad had conveyed to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that such unilateral action "will not be acceptable to Pakistan".

"We want to maintain relations with the United States, but at the same time, we have to protect the sovereignty of the country," he added.

The Haqqanis' leader told Reuters last week that the group is no longer based in the tribal mountainous Pakistani region of North Waziristan and feels secure operating in Afghanistan. However, analysts say it still enjoys sanctuaries in Pakistan.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina ? A judicial ruling in Argentina says frozen embryos from a divorced man's sperm can be used by his ex-wife to get pregnant again.

An appeals panel in Buenos Aires has upheld an earlier ruling in favor of the woman, who had one baby with the man after artificial insemination in 2005. The couple then got divorced.

The man argues he shouldn't be forced into biological fatherhood with his ex-wife. But the two female judges say life begins at conception in Argentina, so he gave approval by donating sperm.

Argentina has no regulations on artificial insemination, but the judges' ruling published Friday says the lack of laws shouldn't stop the woman from using the embryos.

Mice stem cells guided into myelinating cells by the trillions

ScienceDaily (Sep. 25, 2011) ? Scientists at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine found a way to rapidly produce pure populations of cells that grow into the protective myelin coating on nerves in mice. Their process opens a door to research and potential treatments for multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and other demyelinating diseases afflicting millions of people worldwide.

The findings were published in the online issue of Nature Methods on Sept. 25.

"The mouse cells that we utilized, which are pluripotent epiblast stem cells, can make any cell type in body," Paul Tesar, an assistant professor of genetics at Case Western Reserve and senior author of the study, explained. "So our goal was to devise precise methods to specifically turn them into pure populations of myelinating cells, called oligodendrocyte progenitor cells, or OPCs."

Their success holds promise for basic research and beyond.

"The ability of these methods to produce functional cells that restore myelin in diseased mice provides a solid framework for the ability to produce analogous human cells for use in the clinic," said Robert H. Miller, vice dean for research at the school of medicine and an author of the paper.

Tesar worked with CWRU School of Medicine researchers Fadi J. Najm, Shreya Nayak, and Peter C. Scacheri, from the department of genetics; Anita Zaremba, Andrew V. Caprariello and Miller, from the department of neurosciences; and with Eric. C. Freundt, now at the University of Tampa.

Myelin protects nerve axons and provides insulation needed for signals to pass along nerves intact. Loss of the coating results in damage to nerves and diminished signal-carrying capacity, which can be expressed outwardly in symptoms such as loss of coordination and cognitive function.

Scientists believe that manipulating a patient's own OPCs or transplanting OPCs could be a way to restore myelin.

And, they have long known that pluripotent stem cells have the potential to differentiate into OPCs. But, efforts to push stem cells in that direction have resulted in a mix of cell types, unsuitable for studying the developmental process that produces myelin, or to be used in therapies.

Tesar and colleagues are now able to direct mouse stem cells into oligodendrocyte progenitor cells in just 10 days. The team's success relied upon guiding the cells through specific stages that match those that occur during normal embryonic development.

First, stem cells in a petri dish are treated with molecules to direct them to become the most primitive cells in the nervous system. These cells then organize into structures called neural rosettes reminiscent of the developing brain and spinal cord.

To produce OPCs, the neural rosettes are then treated with a defined set of signaling proteins previously known to be important for generation of OPCs in the developing spinal cord.

After this 10 day protocol, the researchers were able to maintain the OPCs in the lab for more than a month by growing them on a specific protein surface called laminin and adding growth factors associated with OPC development.

The OPCs were nearly homogenous and could be multiplied to obtain more than a trillion cells.

The OPCs were treated with thyroid hormone, which is key to regulating the transition of the OPCs to oligodendrocytes. The result was the OPCs stopped proliferating and turned into oligodendrocytes within four days.

Testing on nerves lacking myelin, both on the lab bench and in diseased mouse models, showed the OPCs derived from the process flourished into oligodendrocytes and restored normal myelin within days, demonstrating their potential use in therapeutic transplants.

Because they are able to produce considerable numbers of OPCs -- a capability that up until now has been lacking -- the researchers have created a platform for discovering modulators of oligodendrocyte differentiation and myelination. This may be useful for developing drugs to turn a patient's own cells into myelinating cells to counter disease.

The National Institutes of Health, CWRU School of Medicine, the New York Stem Cell Foundation, the Myelin Repair Foundation, the National Center for Regenerative Medicine, and the Case Comprehensive Cancer Center funded the research.

A. Over the past two years, Europeans scientists shot more than 15,000 particles called neutrinos from Geneva through Earth's crust to an underground lab 454 miles away in Italy. They found that the particles appeared to travel just a tiny bit faster than the speed of light ? just 20 parts per million faster. That was a surprise because the speed of light, about 186,000 miles per second, is supposed to be the fastest anything can move.

Q. Why has this caused such a stir?

A. It threatens Einstein's special theory of relativity, a bedrock of modern physics that Albert Einstein produced in 1905. That theory sets the speed of light as the cosmic speed limit for material objects, although it's better known for the equation E equals mc2, which basically says mass and energy can be changed into each other. If that theory is proven wrong, it could dramatically shake up our understanding of basic laws of the universe.

Q. And would that affect my daily life?

A. Not for now. It's impossible to say what unknown physical effects might be exploited, and how. The findings ? even if proven ? may end up as nothing more than a footnote in physics textbooks, or they could lead to new technological breakthroughs. As one skeptic jokingly said, if it's real, people "could use `neutrinomail' rather than email. It's faster."

Q. How likely is it that this finding is correct?

A. Experts are skeptical. Einstein's relativity theory has withstood a lot of experimental tests over the years. The scientists who reported the finding say they're still looking for flaws in their experimental procedures, and they've asked other labs to try to duplicate the results.

Q. What kind of flaws could there be?

A. The measurement is very complex, and all kinds of factors can enter in. For example, when the results were formally presented at a seminar Friday, a scientist in the audience suggested that the position of the moon could make a difference, because its gravity can deform the terrestrial crust through which the neutrinos passed. A spokesman for the researchers said that didn't appear to be a problem.

Q. So what happens now?

A. Scientists at Fermilab in Illinois have already started planning their own experiment. They have some experience. In 2007, they got a similar result, but the margin of error in their measurements was too big to make a definitive claim.

Tony Bennett blames Americans for 9/11

While promoting his latest album, "Duets II," Tony Bennett appeared on Howard Stern?s Sirius XM radio show on Monday, Sept. 19. While the interview has landed Bennett?s name in the headlines, it may have also earned him some controversial publicity.

According to ABC News, the World War II vet (who described himself as ?anti-war?) expressed disdain for the U.S.-Iraq war, calling it ?a tremendous, tremendous mistake.? When challenged as to how America should deal with terrorists, specifically those involved with the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks, Bennett gave an unexpected answer.

?But who are the terrorists? Are we the terrorists or are they the terrorists? Two wrongs don?t make a right,? he said.

?They flew the plane in, but we caused it,? he continued. ?Because we were bombing them and they told us to stop.? After a few moments of contemplative silence, Stern agreed that his guest had made ?some good points.?

Exercises to help your posture and spare you back pain ? Health ...

Poor posture can make you look 10 pounds heavier. It could sabotage a promotion. And slumped or hunched shoulders are a major reason why back pain affects 80 percent of Americans at some point in their life.

?Poor posture isn?t just disrespectful; it will ruin your spinal health and leads to a dreadful life,? said Gloria Starr, an international business coach who teaches posture at her North Carolina finishing and etiquette school.

When your frame is aligned ? meaning your heels, knees, pelvis and neck are stacked on top of each other ? it moves more efficiently, can carry heavier loads, tires less easily and is less susceptible to strain or injury.

But the minute you sit down to update your Facebook page or drive to the store, you?ll likely drop your chin, tilt your head forward and round or hunch your shoulders. This pulls your muscles and ligaments out of balance ? some muscles grow tight while others become weak ? leading to back and neck pain, headaches, fatigue and other problems.

Still, it takes years to develop slouched shoulder syndrome and vulture neck, conditions that can?t be reversed overnight. Simply increasing physical activity doesn?t necessarily help; when a person with bad posture becomes more active it?s ?like driving around with a crooked axle and hoping that the driving will straighten it out,? said Esther Gokhale, founder of the Gokhale Method, which treats chronic pain through postural adjustments.

These moves can help you stand up straight

If you?re having pain, get your posture assessed by a physical or occupational therapist who can test muscle strength and flexibility, and can make adjustments to your work station if you have a sedentary job. The following exercises can also help strengthen the muscles that grow overused and tight.

1.The OJ squeeze

When shoulders hunch, the muscles that stabilize the shoulder ? the rhomboids and mid-trapezius muscles ? become weak.

Try it: Pretend you?re holding an orange between your shoulder blades and try to squeeze it to make juice by bringing the shoulder blades (scapula) down and together, said physical therapist Paul Drew, the author of the book ?Red Carpet Posture.? Hold for 10 seconds. You?ll also stretch out the front of your shoulders, which may be tight from slouchy desk posture.2

2. The shoulder roll

Hunching the back forward compresses the front section of certain spinal discs and squeezes the contents backward, similar to squeezing one side of a s?more, said Gokhale, author of ?8 Steps to a Pain-Free Back.? ?Over time, this action wears and tears the fibrous exterior at the back of the disc,? she said.

Try it: Move one shoulder forward, upward and as far backward as you comfortably can without significantly moving your body. Gently slide your shoulder blade down along your spine. Your shoulder may settle further back than usual. Repeat on the other side.

3. The 5-minute rest

The eyes are often overlooked when it comes to posture. Once they?re overused or fatigue, the head moves forward, taking us out of alignment, said Donna Eshelman, a Los Angeles-based Feldenkrais practitioner who teaches posture improvement to desk workers.

Try it: Lie on your back for five minutes. ?Cup? your eyes by interlacing your fingers and placing the heels of your hands on your cheekbones and outer eyes to block out the light. This will help ?oxygenate your fatigued muscles, improve breathing and restore your alignment,? said Eshelman. Repeat once an hour.

4. Towel chest stretch

To keep the shoulders from rounding forward, stretch out the chest muscles and strengthen the mid-upper back, said fitness expert Tracey Mallett, a Pilates instructor and personal trainer.

Try it: Stand tall with your legs shoulder-width apart, holding a rolled-up bath towel ? one end in each hand, said Mallett. Keeping the bath towel taut, reach the arms forward at shoulder height. Exhale and pull the arms up and as far back as you can; you should feel a stretch in the pectoral muscles. Hold for two breath cycles and then return the arms back to shoulder height. Repeat five more times.

5. Plank

Strong transversus abdominus muscles, which are the deep back and abdominal muscles closest to your spine, protect your discs and nerves from impact, said Gokhale.

Try it: Begin in push-up position, with your arms straight. Imagine a straight line from your legs through your torso to your neck. Don?t sag or lift your butt. If your shoulders are tensed toward your neck, roll them open, Gokhale said. Hold for up to a minute. This will ?strengthen the muscles that keep your spine happy and lengthened,? she said.

Do devices help?

?Ergonomic training,? or teaching people how to sit at their desk, is one of the most common ways to improve posture. But can gadgets such as posture braces (think SkyMall magazine), posture clothing and even posture necklaces also help?

In general, postural supports or harnesses ?can be a helpful reminder to not slump the upper body forward,? said Esther Gokhale. The iPosture device, a microchip that clips to your shirt or a necklace and vibrates when you slump, could be useful for this as well, but there?s no evidence to show that it actually works.

The problem with many of the devices is ?they don?t improve pelvic position, which is the key to sustainable, healthy posture,? Gokhale said. ?Ultimately, there is no product that can substitute for knowing what to do with one?s own body. Devices can only be useful in conjunction with an education in healthy posture.?

One promising device, however, is a webcam that provides desk workers with pictures of how they currently look alongside a photo of their own correct posture. A study in the current issue of Applied Ergonomics found that use of the webcam, in conjunction with conventional training, resulted in sustained improvement. An effective intervention should be ?a continuous process that provides frequent feedback,? said the Israeli researchers.
