A slew of new polling released on Tuesday suggested that President Barack Obama's post-convention bump nationally may have cooled. A new Gallup poll showed the two men once again in a statistical tie, with Obama garnering 47 percent of the vote to Republican challenger Mitt Romney's 46 percent.
Other polling by Fox News Latino showed that Obama still holds a sizable lead over Romney among Latino voters, although not as large a lead as he held over Sen. John McCain in the 2008 elections. That poll was also released on Tuesday.
Here are some of the key numbers to come out of new presidential polling released on Tuesday.
10: The percentage gap between Obama and Romney among women voters. According to the Gallup poll, women voters prefer the president over his challenger by a margin of 52 to 42 percent.
5: The percentage gap between the two candidates among men. Among men, preference sways the opposite way that it does among women voters, with men preferring Romney over the president by a margin of 49 percent to 44 percent, respectively, as also reported by Gallup.
2: The percentage gap between Romney and Obama nationally, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports on Tuesday. Rasmussen's poll showed Romney with a slight lead over Obama, with 47 percent to the president's 45 percent. Gallup's poll had the president ahead by 1 percentage point instead.
52: A Washington Post poll released on Tuesday showed the president widening his lead in the swing state of Virginia to 8 percentage points. He now polls with 52 percent of the vote in that state, versus Romney's 44 percent.
48: The percentage of Latinos who stated that the economy was the most important issue when deciding who to vote for, according to the poll by Fox News Latino. Health care was the second most important issue, according to the poll, followed by education and social services.
60: The percentage of Latino voters who said they will vote for Obama, according to the Fox News Latino poll, versus the 30 percent who responded that they will vote for Romney. In 2008, Obama garnered 67 percent of the Latino vote in his bid to win the presidency over McCain.
