Smash's Will Chase: My Daughters Aren't Allowed To Watch My Show!

Will Chase may spend his time on the set of Smash belting out ballads, but come airtime, he finds himself pressing the fast-forward button.

After some consideration, the actor deemed some of the hit show?s material too mature for his young daughters! ?When you're shooting it, you're not thinking about the show,? Will, the proud father of Daisy, 13, and Gracie, 10, tells In Touch. ?Sometimes you watch and you're not paying attention, and there's naked people or a bed scene!?

He eventually concluded that the show would have to be edited for his girls, who enjoy watching their superstar dad on the small screen. "They love all the singing," he says.

While having a father on TV may be fun, Will admits he isn?t a stranger to typical father-daughter dynamics. ?They think I'm cool," he says. "But I'm a dad, so they think I'm a dork, too.?

Tune into Smash?s season finale tonight, May 14, on NBC at 10 p.m. ET to catch Will and the rest of the cast sift through their theater-world drama.
